II rescue plan for the self-employed and micro-businesses

New rescue plan, aimed at the self-employed and Galician micro-businesses, affected by the crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

A second aid plan for self-employed persons and micro-businesses affected by the COVID-19 crisis has been convened.

PROGRAM I. SUPPORT FOR SELF-EMPLOYED PEOPLE (TR500A)

Beneficiaries:

  • Self-employed registered in the RETA or in the seaworker regime as self-employed persons, who have a tax domicile in Galicia, including self-employed companies who had a registration prior to March 30, 2020 and who prove a decrease in billing of per at least 45%.
  • Seasonal self-employed, provided that they prove that, although they are not registered at the time of submission of their application, they have been registered for a minimum of 4 months and a maximum of 9 months, in the years 2018 and 2019.

Beneficiaries of this subsidy are exempted from the requirement of being up-to-date in compliance with tax obligations, in front of Social Security or in front of the Public Administration of the Autonomous Community, at the time of granting the aid and the payment of the advance granted (with conditions).

Amount of aid. The billing drop will be generally calculated by comparing the annual billing data for 2020 with those for 2019.

  • € 1,200 for people who prove a billing drop between 45% and 60%.
  • € 2,000 for people who prove a billing drop of more than 60% and less than 70%.
  • € 3,000 for people who prove a billing drop equal to or greater than 70%.

For seasonal self-employed persons, the amounts of the aid will be 50% of the amounts indicated in the previous section.

PROGRAM II. SUPPORT TO MICRO-ENTERPRISES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF EMPLOYMENT AND ECONOMIC ACTIVITY (TR500B)

Beneficiaries:

  • Micro-enterprises and self-employed persons, who have staff hired by others under their charge in the scope of the Autonomous Community of Galicia and who had a decrease in billing of at least 45%.
  • Companies that have up to 25 workers with a turnover of no more than 2 million euros in the last year in which accounts were presented and that show a decrease in turnover of more than 60%. In the case of SMEs belonging to the Horeca distribution channel, the turnover will rise to 5 million euros.

Beneficiaries of this subsidy are exempted from the requirement of being up-to-date in compliance with tax obligations or against Social Security or against the Public Administration of the Autonomous Community, at the time of granting the aid and the payment of the advance granted (with conditions).

  • € 4,000 for people or entities that prove a billing drop of between 45% and 60%.
  • € 5,000 for people or entities that prove a billing drop of more than 60% and less than 70%.
  • € 6,000 for people or entities that prove a decrease in billing equal to or greater than 70%.
