Conditions for the formation of the new Safe Hospitality Plan

The contents of the compulsory training for hotel and restaurant personnel have been published, as well as the procedures for its validation.

The Xunta de Galicia publishes in the DOG on Thursday, September 23, the contents of the compulsory training that the hotel and restaurant staff must carry out since September 15, according to the indications contained in the new Safe Hospitality Plan .

Organization of training course

To carry out the two training sessions, the administration makes different channels available to the hospitality sector:

Courses organized by the regional administration.

Within a period of 10 days, the Xunta will make available a training platform to access the contents of each level and obtain the certification for free.

After viewing the contents, the student must register to request access to the platform and will be sent an email with the link to take the test, which, after being passed, will receive the certificate at the same email address.

Courses organized by prevention services and training centers.

They may also be taught by training entities, sector associations or prevention services, meeting the minimum requirements.

Courses already taken previously.

Courses already taken prior to the effective date of this order will be considered valid as basic training, when their content matches 80% of what is specified therein.
