New changes in the hospitality industry

New levels of restriction for the hospitality sector with mandatory compliance with various security measures.

The Xunta de Galicia announces a new protocol for the hotel industry in our autonomous community.

The president of the Xunta, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, announced at a press conference a new action document that he will guide in the coming months.

In this way, two new levels of restriction will be created according to the degree of commitment of the establishment.

Type 1 premises

👥 CAPACITY. 50% indoors and 75% outdoors.

🕐 CLOSING HOURS. 1.00 hours.

⭕MINIMUM SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.

  • 1.5 meter distance between tables.
  • Public display of capacity allowed on the premises.
  • CO2 meter, with annotations at least every 4 hours.
  • Surgical masks for staff, with an obligation to change every 4 hours.
  • 2 hours of training in covid protocols for staff.

Type 2 premises

👥 CAPACITY. 75% indoors and 100% on the terrace, in addition to the use of bars, always individually or with two people living together.

🕐 CLOSING HOURS. 1.00 hours.

⭕ MINIMUM SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.

  • Distance of 1.5 meters between people at different tables.
  • Restaurants must register customers.
  • Continuous CO2 meter.
  • FPP2 masks for staff, providing diagnostic tests every 7 or 14 days, depending on the epidemiological situation.
  • 4 hours of training in covid protocols for staff.

A third level is reserved for extraordinary cases when required by the seriousness of the epidemiological situation and the care occupation.
