And this bet is demonstrated with figures. In its facilities are developed, with the subsidy of the Ministry of Employment and Equality, the courses Welding with coated electrode and TIG and Plumbing and heating operations-domestic air conditioning-, which offer a total of 1,316 hours of learning.
Both are part of the Training Actions for the Unemployed and the objective is none other than to cover the current demand for these specialists.
Each of the training proposals is made up of 14 students who will obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism.
The knowledge acquired by the participants has been totally oriented and adapted to the needs of the world of work and focused on sectors such as the automotive, naval or food industry.
Welding with covered electrode and TIG
In the welding course, welding processes focused on sectors such as the automotive, naval or food industry are carried out, both in manufacturing and repair.
The design of plans for the execution of projects is also carried out.
This initiative, which began in November and will end in June, has a duration of 758 hours in which the theoretical and practical part is combined, including training in companies. A level 2 professional certificate is obtained.
Plumbing and heating operations -domestic air conditioning-
This course has a duration of 558 hours in which students learn to perform from small repairs to complete installations.
Likewise, theory is combined with practice in the workshop and training in companies is included.
Classes began in January and will end in July, offering a level 1 professional certificate.
It should be noted that the students of both certificates also receive training in the field of occupational risk prevention, environmental awareness and equality.
