Almost 6 out of ten participants in the 2023-2024 Integrated Employment Program of the Polígono San Cibrao Business Association entered the world of work.
These are the figures that support the ninth edition of this initiative that the business entity is launching with active measures to increase employability and improve working conditions in the labor market.
Of the 100 participants in the Integrated Employment Program, 62 worked at some point and 54 are still active.
One of the main novelties of this edition is the implementation of the Cybersecurity and Basic Warehouse Management courses, training that is highly in demand in the industrial environment.
In addition, companies that collaborated outstandingly with the program will be recognized, providing job opportunities and actively supporting participants in their professional development.
Comprehensive Training for Employability
The actions that make up the program are the following: information and advice to the participant, individual orientation sessions, 591 hours of training, company prospecting campaign and active, daily search for job offers.
The 591 hours of training are taught through more than twenty courses related to different fields such as new technologies, the resume and job interview, computer maintenance and security, electronic ID and digital certificates or cybersecurity.
In addition, 55 hours of certified training are offered in courses for food handler, forklift driving, mobile personnel lifting platform operator, and safe driving and operation of cranes.
The objective of this training initiative is to satisfy the needs of warehouse operators demanded by companies in the industrial environment.
Within the integrated employment program, emotional intelligence and motivation in the job search are also worked with participants, rewarding those who demonstrate the most involvement in the process.
Likewise, entrepreneurial capacity is promoted, providing the necessary tools to launch business initiatives.
Professional Internships Integrated Employment Program
As a center approved by the Xunta de Galicia, the Polígono San Cibrao Business Association also provides 350 hours of training demanded by companies in the industrial area, corresponding to the catalog of SEPE specialties such as welding, plumbing or accounting.
Non-labor professional practices also have great relevance within the integrated employment program as an element that can favor integration in companies.
Thus, more than twenty participants have the possibility of carrying out this activity in different companies.
