The San Cibrao Business Association has successfully celebrated the 9th edition of the Employment Integration Program (PIE), with 65% of participants finding jobs, and 52% still employed. These results exceed the initial goal of a 45% employment rate.
Self-employment day: Inspiration and awards
As part of the closing of the Employment Integration Program of San Cibrao, a self-employment day titled “Autoemprego, awaken your entrepreneurial spirit” was held, with 15 participants receiving tools and resources to foster entrepreneurship.
Participants visited companies like Inplasor Galicia and the Tecnópole, where they learned about opportunities for entrepreneurs. Esther Merlo, founder of Madera Plus, shared her personal experience to inspire attendees.
“A Excelencia no Emprego” Awards
The event concluded with the “A Excelencia no Emprego” awards, recognizing Elisabet Macías Rodríguez and Cristina Outomuro Romero as the most outstanding participants. Coasa and the Tecnópole were also recognized for their exceptional collaboration.

The Employment Integration Program San Cibrao exceeded expectations, with 63% of 100 participants employed, and 52% still active. The San Cibrao Business Association has already launched the 10th edition, offering over 500 hours of training in various sectors.
