San Cibrao Business Park Promotes Entrepreneurship Among Young Students from O Barco

San Cibrao Business Park fosters youth entrepreneurship with a visit from IES Lauro Olmo students within the Atrévete program.

San Cibrao Business Park continues to promote entrepreneurship and business culture among young people in the province of Ourense. As part of its open-door policy and within the Atrévete program, included in the Eduemprende plan, 27 first-year secondary school students from IES Lauro Olmo in O Barco visited the facilities of the Business Park to experience firsthand how it operates.

Bringing the Business World Closer to Students

The Atrévete program aims to introduce students and teachers to the business world, showcasing the essential role of industrial area companies and the work of the San Cibrao Business Park Association. Through this initiative, young people gain a deeper understanding of the importance of the business sector in economic and social development.

The president of the Association, José Antonio Rodríguez Araujo, and the manager, Yolanda López, welcomed the group to the Association’s headquarters. During the visit, students learned about the services provided by the Business Park and its impact on the local economy.

Visit to Aceites Abril

After their visit to the Association, the students and their teachers toured the facilities of Aceites Abril, one of Ourense’s leading agro-industrial companies. There, they learned about oil production processes, the importance of innovation in the industry, and the company’s commitment to sustainability and quality.

Commitment to Education and Entrepreneurship

The San Cibrao Business Park Association is committed to educating the next generation and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among young people. Initiatives like this strengthen ties between the education and business sectors, providing students with a clearer vision of job and business opportunities in the province.
