The Integrated Employment Program of the San Cibrao Business Park Association successfully closed its 10th edition (2024-2025). Out of 100 participants, 72 found employment during the program and 59 remain active, far exceeding the initial 45% job placement target.
Training tailored to industry needs
This edition offered more than 550 hours of training in 25 courses, including MIG and TIG welding, administration, accounting, payroll, warehouse management, office software, and safety certifications (food handling, forklifts, aerial platforms, overhead cranes, and work at height).
Participants also took part in workshops on digital job search, cybersecurity, robotics, IT maintenance, coaching, emotional intelligence, and self-employment support.
Professional internships and business links
A total of 23 participants completed professional internships in local companies, strengthening their employability and creating direct industry connections. Additionally, extensive business prospecting was carried out to match participant profiles with recruitment needs.
Awards and company visits
At the closing ceremony, the Excellence in Employment Awards recognized Sandra Costa Teixeira de Sousa and María Guadalupe González López, while Coren received the business award for its commitment to labor integration.
The event concluded with visits to Coasa, an aeronautical components manufacturer, and the CEI Building at the Galicia Technology Park, both symbols of innovation and entrepreneurship.
