The Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) has published new calls for grants from the Ministry of Employment, Trade and Emigration, aimed at boosting employment, recruitment and innovation in Galicia during 2026.

These grants, structured through the Galicia Suma Talento – Emprégate, Investigo and Technology-Based Employment Initiatives (IEBT) programmes, represent a relevant opportunity for companies, self-employed professionals and innovative projects, particularly in business environments such as the San Cibrao das Viñas Industrial Estate.


Galicia Suma Talento – Emprégate Programme (TR342C)

The Galicia Suma Talento: Emprégate programme aims to encourage the recruitment of unemployed people in ordinary companies, especially those facing greater difficulties in accessing the labour market.

Eligible beneficiaries
Companies and employers, regardless of their legal form, including self-employed individuals, civil partnerships and communities of goods, with workplaces located in Galicia. Special employment centres and labour insertion companies are also eligible.

Recruitment incentives

  • Initial permanent recruitment: between €6,000 and €10,000, with increases of up to 85% depending on conditions.
  • Increase from part-time to full-time permanent contracts: €2,000 (€3,000 for people with disabilities).
  • Extension of annual duration of permanent seasonal contracts: €4,000.
  • Adaptation of workplaces for people with disabilities: €1,000.
  • Conversion of training contracts into permanent contracts: €5,000.

Eligible actions
Recruitments and improvements carried out between 1 October 2025 and 30 September 2026.

Investigo Programme (TR349V)

The Investigo Programme is aimed at the recruitment of young jobseekers for the development of research and innovation projects.

Eligible beneficiaries
Private companies based in Galicia, including technology-based employment initiatives, as well as non-profit private R&D&I centres.

Subsidised activity

  • Full-time permanent contracts for 12 months for young people aged 16 to 29.
  • Projects linked to ecological transition, green economy, digitalisation, data engineering, RIS3 Galicia 2021–2027 and healthcare.

Funding amounts

  • Up to €22,405.92 per hired person (contribution group 5).
  • Up to €33,108.84 per person per year (contribution groups 1 to 4).
  • Maximum of 3 subsidised contracts per entity.

Technology-Based Employment Initiatives – IEBT (TR340E)

This programme supports technology-based companies starting their activity in Galicia after being officially classified as IEBT.

Eligible beneficiaries
Private companies and self-employed individuals with registered office, tax residence and workplace in Galicia, established within one year of being classified as an IEBT.

Main grants

  • Creation of stable employment: between €6,000 and €12,000 per permanent contract, with cumulative increases.
  • Start-up grant: up to €24,000.
  • Work-life balance support: up to €3,000.
  • Managerial and training support: up to €10,000.
