The expansion project of the San Cibrao das Viñas Industrial Park, in the province of Ourense, has attracted 15 bids from companies interested in carrying out the urbanisation works, highlighting the strong interest generated by this strategic infrastructure.
The project will add 341,542 square metres of new industrial land, further strengthening one of Galicia’s main industrial hubs.
€9.8 million investment and 18-month timeframe
The Regional Government of Galicia, through Xestión do Solo de Galicia (Xestur), has allocated €9.8 million to this expansion, with an estimated execution period of 18 months once the contract is awarded.
Works are expected to start in mid-2026 and be completed by the end of 2027, making the new plots available to businesses in 2028.
Flexible plots and sustainable design
The expansion covers the Sur I2, I3 and I4 areas of the municipal development plan, organised into five large blocks with plots ranging from 1,400 m² to 68,000 m², as well as service areas and perimeter green spaces to protect nearby residential and rural areas.
Strengthening industrial land in Ourense
This project forms part of Galicia’s wider strategy to increase industrial land supply in the province of Ourense, which will make over 2.7 million square metres of business land available in the coming years, supporting investment, employment and balanced territorial development.
