The Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) has published two key orders from the Regional Ministry of Employment, Trade and Emigration, launching a comprehensive package of grants for self-employed workers in Galicia for 2026, with a total budget exceeding €42 million.
These measures reinforce the role of self-employment as an economic driver, job creator and key factor in maintaining population and productive activity.
Grants for permanent hiring and training (TR349F)
The Order of 17 December 2025 regulates grants for self-employed workers who carry out the initial permanent hiring of unemployed persons, as well as an optional training bonus to improve employees’ skills.
Key points:
- Beneficiaries: self-employed professionals based in Galicia.
- Scope: first, second and third permanent hires.
- Total budget: €1,350,000.
- Application deadline: until 30 September 2026.
Support programmes for entrepreneurship and consolidation
(ESF+ Galicia 2021–2027)
The Order of 30 December 2025 regulates five major support programmes for self-employed workers, co-financed by the European Union, with a total budget of €40,706,500:
- Programme I – Promotion of self-employment (TR341D).
- Programme II – Second chance bonus (TR790A).
- Programme III – Self-employed consolidation bonus (TR341Q).
- Programme IV – Business transfer bonus (TR353D).
- Programme V – Work-life balance bonus (TR341R).
The general application deadline is 30 September 2026.
