The Asociación de Empresarios Polígono San Cibrao held an institutional meeting with the Minister for Employment, Trade and Emigration of the Xunta de Galicia, José González Vázquez, to discuss initiatives aimed at strengthening employment, training and talent attraction within the business community.
During the meeting, the Minister highlighted the comprehensive renewal of employment training policies promoted by the Galician Government, including redesigned training programmes such as the AFD training actions for unemployed people and the Galicia Suma Talento programme.
The new Galicia Suma Talento: Emprégate programme was also presented, which prioritizes hiring individuals who have previously participated in publicly funded training programmes, strengthening the link between training and employment.
The meeting also addressed key labour market challenges such as filling job vacancies and tackling unjustified absenteeism.
From the Asociación de Empresarios Polígono San Cibrao, the meeting was positively valued as an opportunity to present the main needs and challenges of the industrial estate’s business community and explore collaboration opportunities to improve competitiveness, employment and talent availability.
