The Asociación de Empresarios Polígono San Cibrao held a new edition of its Employment Forum, an event designed to connect job seekers with companies, career guidance professionals and human resources specialists.
The event, organised within the framework of the 2025-2026 Employment Integration Programme, brought together 25 programme participants alongside representatives from temporary employment agencies, HR managers and employment specialists.
During the opening session, the Association’s president, José Antonio Rodríguez Araújo, highlighted the importance of promoting initiatives that improve employability and strengthen direct links between companies and workers.
Training adapted to real business needs
The Association highlighted the results of the Employment Integration Programme, now in its eleventh edition and currently involving 100 participants.
Since the beginning of this edition, 55 participants have already gained work experience and 48 remain employed today.
The programme includes more than 500 hours of specialised training, individual career guidance, business outreach activities and non-professional internships.
This year’s programme also incorporates training in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, Big Data and digital tools like ChatGPT.
Participation of companies and HR professionals
The forum included meetings with temporary employment agencies and technical sessions focused on recruitment processes and current hiring needs.
The Association stressed that initiatives such as this help strengthen the link between training and employment, facilitating talent acquisition and responding to the real needs of companies located in the industrial estate.
