The Emega programme for female entrepreneurship in Galicia 2026 is now open. The Consellería de Política Social e Igualdade of the Xunta de Galicia published today, 3 July 2026, in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) the call for Emega 2026 grants, aimed at supporting private companies formed by women that start or consolidate their economic activity in Galicia. Incentives can reach up to 42,000 euros and are co-funded at 60% by the European Union through the FSE+ Galicia 2021-2027 programme.
Emega programme female entrepreneurship Galicia 2026: what does it consist of?
The Emega programme is a Xunta de Galicia initiative to promote female entrepreneurship and the creation and maintenance of stable employment for women, both as self-employed and as employees. In its 2026 call, the programme has a total budget of 4,944,660 euros and is structured into four lines of aid adapted to different business situations and profiles.
Who can apply for Emega 2026 grants?
Eligible beneficiaries are private companies formed by women that start their economic activity or formalise their reactivation and/or improvement plans between 14 August 2025 and the deadline for submitting applications under this call.
Companies must qualify as micro or small enterprises, regardless of their legal form, including:
- Individual businesswomen (self-employed).
- Civil partnerships and communities of goods.
- Entities without legal personality.
- Commercial companies, including worker-owned companies, worker cooperatives and professional companies.
Emega 2026 programme lines
The Emega 2026 programme is structured into four lines of aid:
Emega Emerxe — New business initiatives
Aimed at promoting the launch of new business initiatives and the creation of stable female employment as self-employed and employees.
Incentives: from 10,000 to 22,000 euros.
Emega Impulsa — Reactivation and consolidation
To support the reactivation and consolidation of existing women-led companies, or the implementation of innovative measures to improve competitiveness in the face of adverse economic situations.
Incentives: from 8,000 to 17,000 euros.
Emega Innova — Innovative and technology-based initiatives
Aimed at boosting innovative business initiatives with scientific content or technological basis, promoted by women and involving the creation of stable female employment.
Incentives: from 18,000 to 42,000 euros.
Emega Concilia — Work-life balance
Complementary grant to the Emerxe, Impulsa and Innova lines, in two variants:
- Concilia-promotoras: incentive of 3,000 euros.
- Concilia-employed workers: incentives from 1,000 to 5,000 euros.

These grants are subject to the de minimis regime under Commission Regulation (EU) No 2023/2831 of 13 December 2023.
What is the deadline to apply?
The application period is one month from the day after publication in the DOG, running from 4 July 2026 to 4 August 2026.
Applications must be submitted electronically through the Xunta de Galicia’s electronic office at sede.xunta.gal, using procedure code SI429A.

Frequently asked questions about Emega 2026
Can a self-employed woman apply for these grants?
Yes. Individual businesswomen are expressly included among the eligible beneficiaries of this call, provided they meet the remaining requirements.
Is it compatible with other subsidies?
These grants are subject to the de minimis regime, meaning the total de minimis aid received by a single company cannot exceed 300,000 euros over three consecutive fiscal years.
Can several lines be applied for at the same time?
The Emega Concilia line is complementary to the others, so it can be applied for alongside Emerxe, Impulsa or Innova.
